All-Ages Community Participatory Dances here on the Sunshine Coast
Sat Apr 25th, 2026, 7:00-9:00 pm, at Davis Bay Community Hall: English Country Dance (what they danced in Jane Austen’s novels), called by Heather Webster
- Fun, social dances from New England and the British Isles. All ages, all abilities!
- No experience or partner necessary. Everyone dances together! Non-gendered instructions.
- All dances are taught and then prompted (“called”) by an experienced caller.
- Live folk music accompaniment.
- Suggested donation $15 or pay what you can, to cover expenses. Cash or e-transfer at the door.
